So, I would like a do-over, please, on this blogging thing. People have been giving me a hard time about how they miss seeing Maddie on the blog. The complaints have fallen on deaf ears for a long time--but now I'm starting to feel the guilt seeping in. Yes, I am aware that she has been growing like a weed for almost a year without me sharing her pictures and stories with everyone. I'M SORRY!! In my defense--blogging takes a lot of time and effort, and I am not a natural writer and story teller--add that to the fact that we live a very boring life, and the blog just withered and died....blah blah blah. I really felt like you weren't missing out on much, but now that I look back on the past year, I realize that I am wrong. Miss Maddie is really turning into an awesome kid. SO, I am promising to to bring some life back into this blog so you can all see this sweet and funny little person more often.
A few things about her lately:
--She is talking in full sentences.
--She is still obsessed with shoes.
--She is potty training and doing really well (we are the ones who need work!)
--She has totally started her "terrible twos" (and it is as awesome as expected...)
--She can correctly identify 95% of our family members in pictures.
--Her favorite toys are books. My little nerd! I'm so proud.

ps. is anyone else really upset by the stuff happening with the Big XII? Boo hiss.
